FAQ

Can customers test their products on your equipment before signing a PO?

Yes! Customers can mail (FedEX, UPS) us their labels, bottles, caps etc. and we can quickly and easily run your samples on the respective machines. We will then follow-up with detailed photos, videos and a report to share with you. We may find that machine design adjustments are necessary, or maybe not, however, all of this information would be shared with you.

Does Abacus carry replacement parts?

Yes! we carry replacement parts for all equipment in our Michigan City, IN facility. If in-stock we can overnight nearly any part to you as well.

How does your 1 YEAR warranty work?

...its a manufacturer's warranty. In the unlikely chance that a part on your equipment malfunctions, it will be replaced at no cost to the customer. If available, we will install the replacement. Machine issues or damage caused by the customer are not covered under the warranty. However, we are available to assist you.

Please explain the payment options and terms?

Direct Wire-Transfer:

- Payment is 40% deposit (due upon receiving invoice) and 60% balance paid prior to shipping.

Trace entered the packaging equipment manufacturing business by means of a family friend, who owns a Midwest contract-packager. At the time his friend asked Trace to represent the company in overseas equipment acquisitions. Since those initial machine projects, Trace has expanded his efforts of designing and manufacturing packaging equipment with a small team.

Today he and a talented team of engineers, facilitators and shipping agents do so under the name, Abacus.

Trace studied at Beijing University of Science and Technology, Zhejiang University and Valparaiso University. He is a native Hoosier and speaks fluent Mandarin. When not on the court, he spends his time between the U.S. and Asia.
